LaWanda Peters, the mother of two beautiful children, Kevin and Ashley, is a native of Dawson, Georgia. She has experienced the mountain tops and valleys of a remarkable life with many more dynamic chapters in store. Her journey is one that simply demonstrates the presence and favor of a higher power.
Having experienced many swift transitions in life, such as: divorce, homelessness, broken relationships, low self-esteem, rejection, abandonment, and physical abuse, she has emerged a powerful woman who flawlessly and effortlessly operates in the capacities of ministry, entrepreneurship, and is climbing the ranks as a best-selling author with four books under her belt.
Apostle LaWanda Peters is the founder of a trailblazing women’s organization, Gathering of the Girls. She is also the owner of LYP Service, a boutique that represents class and excellence. She serves in ministry as the Overseer and Pastor of Faith & Deliverance Prophetic Ministries, Inc. in Dawson, GA. She has been a guest on several TV programs, TBN, TV57 and has been featured in several articles.
In 2015, she was awarded the Black Essence Award for being a great leader in the community & her dedicated service in ministry, in 2016, she was honored by Sheen Magazine’s, I Love My Pastor, and in 2017 honored to be the Face Of A Survivor recipient by No Longer The Face Foundation. Apostle Peters travels the world extensively with the objective to encourage, inspire, and impact the lives of those she comes in contact with. She is also an Author, Motivational Speaker, Spiritual Life Coach, and Mentor.
